Instructions and Help about Southwest lost and found reviews

Hey guys, it's Sebastian from Ask Sebby. Today, we are going to look at the Southwest Priority Card by Chase. We're going to start off with the basics of the card, so pretty much everything you need to know. Then, we'll move on to the sign-up bonus, mostly because that can change in the future. Starting with the annual fee, it does come with a $149 annual fee. But, the really good thing about this card is that you get a $75 travel credit towards Southwest. Be aware that this is based on your card number year and not calendar year. So, again, if you got the card in July of 2018, you're going to get a $75 credit until the end of June 2019. So, it just depends on when you got the card. This effectively means that the annual fee isn't really $149, it's about $74. The main reason being that one flight on Southwest is likely going to cover that $75 credit. Meaning that, yes, you are paying $149 right now, but once you take that one trip, you're kind of getting that one trip for free. Another way to think of it is imagine if you went to a County Fair and there was a $10 fee. But when you went in, they gave you a $5 certificate to buy food. Assuming that you were going to buy food anyways at that fair, then the effective annual fee is more like $5 rather than $10. The card earns two Southwest reward points back for every dollar that you spend on Southwest, their hotel partners, or their car rental partners. For all other purchases, you're going to earn one point per dollar. These earning rates are actually the same as the ones for the Southwest Plus Card....
