Assuming that you were going to buy food anyways at that fair, then the effective annual fee is more like $5 rather than $10. The card earns two Southwest reward points back for every dollar that you spend on Southwest, their hotel partners, or their car rental partners. For all other purchases, you're going to earn one point per dollar. These earning rates are actually the same as the ones for the Southwest Plus Card....
